LOVE AND PAIN
He was screaming and crying out, “CAN’T YOU SEE I LOVE YOU? DON’T DO THIS!!! I LOVE YOU!!! WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FROM ME??? I TRY TO LOVE YOU BUT YOU RUN!! I LOVE YOU!! NO, DON’T DO THIS!!”
He was painfully distressed and I was heart wrenched for the guy! It brought me back to a time past when I’d had my heart broken and all this beautiful music was born. Man, CAN LOVE HURT!!
I remembered as my heart was pounding with pain through my ex’s cold response for my loving dilemma. With this particular relationship I was tore up from the floor up! I wanted to die. I lay on the bed sobbing for what felt like days. I flashed on the times (two in hindsight) things went the other way around and I had broken my lover’s hearts. I started to see both sides of the coin. I began to really know how it felt when the dream of love died. Only then was I beginning to see what love really was.
From that point on, I made it a point to walk carefully and handle with care my choices for love. I embraced the idea of loving myself in a big way first and not falling for the easy route hooking up because I did not want to be alone or lonely. I chose to face any fears and loneliness head on and put to rest any co-dependence that comes from insecurity. I’d focus on my personal healing and education of love in order to really have a great love one day. I still believe and contently wait as I become more beautiful and whole by the day.
We are ever changing and as I grow more mature, I see how our needs change. It often takes living through some great pain to realize what it is we really have when we stand in the flame of love. Love is a powerful energy and a state of great enlightenment. It seems so simple yet complicated and illusive. Unconditional love was all I ever hoped for. And a GREAT MAN with a GREAT HEART who loved a GREAT GOD. Am I asking too much? Good things come to those who wait? I still believe.
For now,I shall let the music tell the story.
LOVE TAKES TIME
Hugs and love to you,
Miss Kristin

Will it be Indian Summer?
Summer is nearing it's end and being a warm weather girl, I'm setting my sites toward an Indian Summer. (In more ways than one)
The "Free" CD has been shipped to radio around the world and we have had quite a few positive comments from radio stations and fans who are really enjoying the music! I for one love the single "Indian Summer" and had a great time creating my own video for the music with my handy hi def camera! Please watch it and enjoy the scenery of Sedona, Arizona where much of the short movie was filmed. Watch Indian Summer Here:
I enjoy the concept of this album "Free" and in all I do attempt to incorporate the idea by enjoying creating freely without being too concerned with what people may think. My motto is "Do the best you can with what you've got!" and I live by those words and am thoroughly enjoying the journey! If you have yet to see the "Free" video you may watch it now: Watch The FREE Video Here:
My home is presently in renovation as we are building a new rehearsal space in the garage. The guys are underway with sheet rock and whatever else is needed for soundproofing and such.
I have been invited to play gigs and have more requests coming so my hope is to get the rehearsal room ready and then get underway with the next stage of Miss Kristin music. Now I have performed live for some time solo and with various groups, but the time has come for me to up my game and dial the show in! So stay tuned we will have much more coming for you in the future.
It's A Love In Baby!
The next NEW collection "Whole In My Soul" is about complete and will be released in the near future. We have a track we would like you to grab as a thank you for your continued support. The uplifting and unique "It's A Love In Baby!" is yours free for being a friend of Miss Kristin! You can grab it here: It's A Love In Baby! and Watch The New "It's A Love In Baby!" Video Here:
And if that weren't enough, we also have in production another great collection titled "Miss Kristin's Elephant Groove" featuring the awesome talented Billy Hyatt on guitars with a few more special guests for musical production assistance. "Miss Kristin's Elephant Groove" is a Funky collection with some R&B style and radio singles we know you're gonna love! I just love the freedom of creating within different genres. I find a wider audience for my independent music and more often than not I surprise myself creatively and learn so much! Stay tuned, Lord willing "Elephant Groove' will be a 2011 release!
Have a wonderful Indian Summer friends!

Practicing Non Judgment and MUSIC
Lately, I have been coming into a lot of criticism, and negative opinions.(This seems to happen especially after each new collection I release.) This happens a lot to folks, who are doing something with their dreams.
Mostly from those who are not. Or people who think they are, but not doing well at seeing their achievements. Some criticism is good and welcome, but always we must understand the motive. What is causing one to desire to judge another?
I am a sensitive woman, and when I feel bombarded by a so called attack, I have been taught to shake it off! Let it go quickly and wait and reply in love. I pray not to partake in the behavior. I do pretty well to be honest with you. Sometimes though around full moon eclipses and vital times of change, I notice the forces coming against me. More often than not, after I have faced some great personal fear.
We as artists need to become strong in Love so that we are well equipped to sing and produce like soldiers going to war. All because we love music and it is a gift that blesses people and lifts spirits.
The music business is a tough business. I don’t have to tell anyone that. It’s expensive, very mysterious and it can be nerve wracking with the work that goes into the live aspect mixed with the writing aspect, mixed with the recording aspect mixed with the business aspect. It’s a lot for anyone to handle. Even more so for independents who don’t have a staff much of the time. (I still believe for mine)
We do the best we can with what we have. We do what we have to do to allow us to create and make a living having the time to do what we love. We are good at multitasking, and doing what it takes, to get to our LOVE. Music for me is a huge sacrifice, and a huge love. It is a great gift I have been given as a writer first.
My dreams are to compose for other artists as well as myself. I’d like to do movies and television too.
Presently, my track “Look To You” is in stores across Europe and I am please to be garnering more income from my work. For now, and, at least the next ten years it is all about the MUSIC for ME.
I’m gonna give it all I got, and I don’t care what anyone says! Go ahead, … Tell me I suck!! Tell me to give it up already!! It won’t happen. I love what I do and that’s all that matters. I pray you love it too. Cause I got the music in me!
Soon I will be posting a sneak peak to the new collection WHOLE IN MY SOUL.
Take an early listen and stay tuned for the tracks in the months to come. I love you friends and fans, and look forward making music that delights your souls, sets your spirits free and assists in lightening your load.
God Bless, Stay in peace. Please practice non-judgment. And LOVE!
Always, keen to be,
Miss Kristin

Miss Kristin Imagines What She And The World Could Be With Upcoming “Whole In My Soul”.
One hypothesis for the evolution of human imagination is that it allows conscious beings to solve problems (and hence increase an individual's survival fitness) by use of mental simulation.
The essence of Kristin’s magical compositions on her upcoming collection “Whole In My Soul” from Big Fuss Records, consciously reveals a landscape of grace in our world and what might be, through sight, sound, and emotion.
Envisioning her own imagination preceding reality; Kristin envelops musical life experience of the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties, composing for a new time with songs like “Love In”, “The Whole World Knows” and “Show Me What Love Is”. Kristin contagiously elevates and transcends time beautifully using her own life as conduit.
Kristin’s ability for creating personal realms within her idealistic mind from elements derived from sense perceptions of the shared world, seem to transcend the norm and set her apart as one of the great writers of our time.
“Whole In My Soul” again features the influential guitars of Tom Landry and is set for a October 2010 release.

Miss Kristin in the pink with “A Miss Kristin Mac Attack” and “Free”, available worldwide March 2010
Enlisting the help of childlike artistic talent Alison “Dizz” Daniel, “A Miss Kristin Mac Attack” and “Free” display Kristin’s unique approach to music, inviting those who discover her works, to come hither and listen. The color pink has meaning of its own referring to, in perfect condition especially of health. “The earliest citations of 'in the pink' are from the 16th century and, at that time, the meaning was 'the very pinnacle of something', but not necessarily limited to health.
Listening to Kristin’s music, it would be safe to say this persistent woman is on to something smart, and pink! Kristin’s style is individual like others who have gone before her. Great artists like, Sir Elton John, Neil Young, Tom Petty, and Stevie Nicks all having a presentation that upon first introduction had the power to magnetize or repel but eventually fall in love with. Kristin’s personal characteristic vocal fashion is similar.
“A Miss Kristin Mac Attack” is ten early Fleetwood Mac songs produced in a pop/reggae production that brings new life and relevance to Fleetwood Mac favorites of the seventies.
Kristin produced and arranged the entire collection playing most instruments and featuring the reggae elegance of artist Emmanuel Selassie as guest vocalist/instrumentalist. Kristin brings duets alongside solo masterpieces for both young and old to enjoy.
“Free” is Miss Kristin’s own personal journey through fear into strong hearted bravery.
Kristin sings with lyrical wisdom as a woman willing to lead a mighty army to happiness via today’s independent music world. Kristin again features the extraordinarily amazing guitars of Tom Landry for this collection surely not to be missed.
Both “A Miss Kristin Mac Attack” and “Free” are available digitally and physically, March 2010 via iTunes , Amazon.com, CDBaby and Digstation while Miss Kristin remains tickled pink to be free to make her expressive music.

Miss Kristin “In It To Win It” With Her New Music Release, “FREE” Available February 2010.

These days Miss Kristin is counting her blessings and thankfully crafting genuine uniqueness, as she creatively shines on her new music release “FREE”.
With "FREE" being her eleventh collection over the course of the last decade, Kristin has launched as a genre crossing, multi-talented, writer-composer, who truly enjoys what she is doing.
Better known as a Soft Rock /Triple AAA/ New Age Independent Artist, Kristin Pedderson (aka Miss Kristin) seems determined to demonstrate herself through perseverance in the music industry claiming, “Sometimes You Win”.
“FREE” is composed entirely by Kristin, and produced, with the help of the gifted Tom Landry as guitarist/bassist extraordinaire. Opening with the title track “Free”; Kristin asks her audience, “Who holds the chains, where does it bind you?” With powerful musicianship, “FREE” is a continuation in theme collections where the title track suggests an idea that is carried throughout the entire musical journey setting the mood for a grand adventure.
Miss Kristin continues her poetic crossing without reserve following the title track “Free” with a jazzy single, ”The Best Of Intentions” , in a sexy liberated devil may care moment. Kristin having survived her own level of oppression has the panache to reach her listeners as one who enjoys complete personal liberty. Kristin breaks her own rules with realism to love and appreciate.
A most interesting inclusion is the emotional Sentimental Journey where Kristin performs her own instruments in an epic passage through thought and emotion, reconciling past and present. Kristin’s entrancing empathetic stance confidently seems to seek those bound, calling them to her bold freedom.
Kristin spent her early years working as a hair stylist, while honing her true heart’s desire as a composer, producer, and performer. Kristin is no stranger to pretense and has had plenty of opportunity to consider people firsthand. She regularly assists with music for a local street ministry in San Jose, (her home town) and her real life experience, has given her compositions a compassionate edge.
Clear of obstructions, the first single to be released, “Sometimes You Win” sings, the second time around is the doosey, third time is the charm. Perhaps engaged in her gift, Kristin has stopped counting and is saying what really matters, is she keeps doing what she loves; making great original music.

If there was ever a year to remember...

It would be 2009. And now that it's on the way out;
My heart is aware and filled with gratitude for all the provision and support I have received throughout the past year. Many thanks go out to you, my family, friends, and fans for listening, caring and sharing yourself with me so graciously. We have achieved so very much with very little.
The economy has been trying us all and the news is often saddening. Our brothers and sisters, friends and family have had their struggles before our eyes every day, and we love on, and hope on. I am uplifted. Let's keep the faith in strength for this is gonna get good! Just think 2010 is near; What a ring it has!
I am extremely grateful because I met my goals this year.
I set out at the beginning of 2009 to complete three collections.
My three accomplishments this year are:
MARCH ON Released May 2009
A MISS KRISTIN MAC ATTACK October, 2009
(Thank you Emmanuel Sellassie for your collaboration.)
And FREE now being manufactured and set for release February 2010.
I desire to mention honorably Mr. Tom Landry.
Tom is a big blessing to me. Yes... he works for hire... and I'm on the line, but he always comes through and gives me his extra special something every time. He is one of my best friends and I love him to death! So thanks to God for bringing Tom Landry into my life and causing us to be joined in creativity! Make sure you check him out and consider him for your next project. He's a real gem! The real thing baby!!!
Also, I would like to thank Robert Berry for his regular two cents of great advice and of course his musicianship! I am one lucky girl to have such great talent surrounding me. Everyone who has participated in my creative en devours...I bow to you. It really means a lot to me your helping make my dreams come true!
