Independent New Age Folk Rock artist Miss Kristin is set to deliver a new album worldwide. Big Fuss Records will release The Elephant Groove this October 2011. The album covers new musical ground, providing the world with well crafted singles and song creations.
Kristin is backed by a strong accompaniment of top musical talent, such as multi-instrumentalist Billy Hyatt who co-produces six of the twelve tracks. Tom Landry is presenting again with guitar and bass, amid a special guest appearance from Pat Wilder and Pete Thoeness, both on guitar, to round out the collection. A talented musician herself, Kristin, the singer-songwriter performs many of her own instruments, primarily keyboards and guitars.

Summer Time Rock
Miss Kristin and her new single “Summer Time Rock” are rocking the beach city of Santa Cruz with new fervor. The catchy and fun pop rock tune is manifesting joy and summer time fun for all who hear it.
The music video has been created using some of the best Santa Cruz, California area and Beach Boardwalk features. YouTube is hosting the video on the Big Fuss Records user page.
The warm weather song is the brainchild of a talented songwriter from Africa who goes by the name of “Condor”. Condor is a pop punk style songwriter who first introduced the contagious track to Miss Kristin at the start of summer season 2011.
Kristin saw the potential in the addictive number and started the wheels in motion for a delightful production in which Kristin performs all instruments and vocals. The new rock summer time single is published Brave Girl Music BMI.
Big Fuss Records is proud to be presenting the new music to the city of Santa Cruz, California and the beach boardwalk, in hopes of a future licensing deal. The company also requests that folks phone in to the city of Santa Cruz California and request “Summer Time Rock” as the next song of Santa Cruz and Beach Boardwalk advertising campaign.

Urgent Call To Action for Miss Kristin
Miss Kristin is no stranger to social justice and is putting her catalog of socially relevant material to good use with “Face To Face(With Nuclear Waste)”.
When tragedy in our world strikes and the going gets tough, it’s the tough who get going; and Miss Kristin is putting her voice and large catalog of socially relevant material to good use with her new original single “Face To Face (With Nuclear Waste)”.
“Face To Face (With Nuclear Waste) is live on iTunes and a powerful display of Kristin’s vocal and songwriting abilities. With a knack for stirring the pot with her capable talent, Kristin is not stopping anytime soon.
Donating all proceeds to the Japan Tsunami Relief efforts, Kristin is encouraging listeners to take hold of this single now especially for this cause. “We have to be made aware and stand up against the dangers of Nuclear Waste. We must begin to implement solutions for the future of our world and our children. What is happening now in Japan at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant can and will happen again. We need to receive this as a wake up call! ”, states Kristin.
Kristin is no stranger to social justice and has been involved with assisting the homeless, poor and needy with her voice for fifteen years. A frequent supporter of homeless issues and human rights, Kristin states, “In these times we must come together to help one another. It’s time to stand up and be counted and ask ourselves, what can we do today to relieve a bit of pain?”
Kristin released “Whole In My Soul” to radio and fans in February 2011 and is preparing her next collection “The Elephant Groove” which is set for October 2011. Kristin produces prolifically due to her extensive catalog and her fortunate collaboration with some extreme grade A production talent. “The Elephant Groove” will feature three exceptional artists: Billy Hyatt as co-producer on six of the tracks and Pat Wilder on guitar for “Wonder City”’ as well as Pete Thoeness adding guitar style to “Slice Of Pie”.
